OMG, I just got DirecTV installed and no, I didn’t kiss the installer when he was done or anything (like in the TV commercial), but I came damn close! Good riddance Comcast! I can’t wait to kick it with some serious NFL Sunday Ticket this weekend and their NFL total geek package with the split screen games et. al. DirecTV treats you really nice as a new customer too. Four months of the whole enchilada (their premium package with the works) for $49 per.
A major plug has to go to my friends at WeaKnees.com who hooked me up with not one, but two kick ass DirecTiVo DVRs. Just take your wallet and FedEx it to them. They rock.
And I’m back with TiVo after a short Hiatus with the Comcast DVR. The jury’s still out on which picture is better, but I can’t wait to spend the next 24 hours straight setting up all my Season Passes and Wishlists and whatnot—something I sorely missed with Comcast.
I’m a tad overwhelmed with all this tech, so that’s it for now
