 We ended up staying over in Stowe, VT on Friday night, then driving to Coventry (the back way) on Saturday morning. We got turned around on Rt. 105 North by the VT state police (despite having VIP creds and a VIP parking pass) and parked (for free) on the closest side road.

 The hardest decision was how to whittle down my fully packed Land Rover down to one bag and a cooler which we would bring into the Coventry site via ATV. A local named George offered us a ride to the site via his ATV equipped with a small trailer for $10 each. He took four of us in to the site through the wildest and steepest ATV trails I have seen! The mud was so thick (up to 2 feet deep at times) that the ATV got stuck and we all had to get out to get it free! (see pics). I had to stop looking at the trail for fear of being bounced out of the trailer!

 After being dropped off at “the gate” with a heavy cooler and a heavy gear bag we discovered that it was actually *another* two mile hike to the real gate. Like an angel from heaven, a 12-year old kid named “Nate” appeared from the woods and offered us a ride up to the gate on his ATV for $10 each – which we gladly accepted.

 It was hilarious to see all the vendors hawking rubber boots on the access road into the venue.

 Once inside we discovered that VIP camping was closed and got tipped off to campsites on higher ground at section “K.” We dropped off our heavy things with some people from Ohio State that were camped with their RV on Shakedown Street A.

 Proceeded to walk all the way down to VIP check-in off Maxwell road and picked up our Betty Ford Clinic wrist bands.

 I waiting in line for about an hour to get into the House of Live Phish and downloaded 310 Live Phish songs to my iPod mini.

 Full Setlists from Coventry are available from Phish.com.

The PowerPage has received some images of what the Vonage Wi-Fi phone, to be released in Q4, will look like. Vonage will supply its customers with the Wi-Fi handset, which will enable subscribers to make and receive phone calls within range of Wi-Fi wireless access points found in airports, cafes, fast food restaurants and other high-traffic areas. It will also work in subscribers homes, provided they have an Internet hotspot. These phones will be 802.11-enabled and Vonage has not yet determined who will manufacture the phone.
