Queer Eye for the Straight Guy is hillarious. Definitely partially to blame for keeping me up to all hours last night. I was on deadline for a couple of big reviews and could not look away! Work be damned! Anyway, as a luggage freak I implore you to run, don’t walk, to the Crumpler Web site to buy your next PowerBook bag. Read my review on the PowerPage today it kept me up all night. And don’t worry about it, Carson would approve!
Mac OS 10.2.8 totally killed my PowerBook 12-inch (867MHz). Installed, rebooted, kaput. No video whatsoever, HDD won’t even boot. I think that Apple should pick up the tab on the $50 data recovery if it comes to that. Mailing it back to Le Pomme today via the famed Airborne Express “coffin.” Wish me luck.
Just back from a trip to Toronto. One tip: always bring back a dozen donuts from Tim Horton’s for the crew back at the home office. Everyone is your firend when you are carrying a dozen donuts around. My favorite donut is the maple dipped. Don’t get me started on Krispy Kremes either, they don’t hold a candle to TH and don’t come in maple dipped. Now where the heck is my PowerBook 15-inch?
